Kadie-Jo has over 5 years experience in Theatre productions and on Stage Performing, covering a wide range of skills from Improvisation, to Devising, Musical Theatre and the classics of Chekhov to American Theatre. She has a high pitched voice, with a delicate timbre and versatile resonance. Whilst Kadie-Jo does not sing, she has a gentle and melodic almost singsong voice.
Whilst studying her BA (Hons) Degree at the University For The Creative Arts, she discovered a love for Verbatim Theatre. While creating a final project for her course, Kadie-Jo created "It's More than Just Skin Deep". A performance based on Verbatim Interviews and Testimonies from people from everyday walks of life with Body Modifications e.g Tattoos and Piercings. It was during the creation of this performance that Kadie re-discovered her love for Verbatim theatre and because of this it is an area for future development that she is very interested in.
In addition to this, Kadie-Jo would like to explore using the skills she has acquired through her Acting Training to continue her training to become a Drama Therapist and to bring marginalised topics and subjects alive through theatre and Verbatim, to people who do not necessarily have access to live performance pieces and Theatre.
